Musical invite

Music lovers are invited to ‘The Front Room’ for the second in a series of three events at the John Gray Centre in Haddington.

The evenings of live, original, acoustic music are organised by association with Haddington-based Lamp House Music.

The headliner on Friday, October 26, at 7pm is Paul Gilbody. Belfast born Gilbody is an Edinburgh-based singer/songwriter who has been the founder member behind numerous musical successes including Gecko 3, the Ugly Groove Movement, Gospel Truth Choir and Acoustic Edinburgh. He has also worked with a multitude of musicians from KT Tunstall and Horse to Sir Tom Jones. Following his EP ‘Eponymoose,’ he is working on his album ‘Find Your Shoes’, due to be released in the New Year.

This month, The Front Room’s East Lothian youth act is Preston Lodge High School pupil Johnny Brown (14), who has been singing and playing guitar for just one-and-a-half years.

There will also be support from Haddington-based ‘Fallen Stone’, who appeared at the Trad on the Tyne festival.
