Eight-year-old Hamish was one of the 41 Scottie dogs who stole the show at Glasgow 2014’s opening ceremony in their role as team name bearers for the athletes’ parade.

He belongs to Barry Chisholm and son Aaron, from Gospatrick Grange in Dunbar, who had the honour of leading out Team Scotland.

Barry said: “It was amazing to be part of such an iconic event in Scotland’s history.”
