Pipers from Preston Lodge High School entertained the crowds at the launch of the new-look Prestonpans Scotmid store last week.
Scotmid recently awarded a sponsorship to the pipe band to pay for new equipment, including a new bass drum and costumes.
The pipers, who will soon be off to China to perform in the Nanning festival, collected donations from customers at the store re-launch to support their endeavour.
Harry Cairney, vice-president of Scotmid Co-operative, said: “Scotmid is very proud to be one of the sponsors for the Preston Lodge High School Pipe Band, who are a terrific band that play at many local events.”
