Youngstars shine with SFA quality award

Musselburgh Youngstars has won an award to recognise the professional way in which the football club is run.
One of the fastest-growing youth football clubs in East Lothian, MYS has been awarded the “Development” level quality mark by the Scottish Football Association.
The award follows the club’s success in achieving its Level 1 Quality Mark last year and reflects its desire to ensure that its young members enjoy their football — thanks to high coaching standards — and are properly looked after.
Club chairman David McArthur said: “This award recognises the growing professionalism of the club. We have invested heavily in training our coaches to a higher standard to ensure that they can provide better-quality sessions for our kids.”
