Tranent Amateur Swimming Club held their annual club championships on Saturday.
The club’s swimmers ranging from six to 20-year-old had an excellent day of competition.
The club, which will be entering its 40th year in 2013, showed how well the club has grown again over the last few years and become one of the biggest and most competitive swimming clubs in East Lothian.
Tranent have strong junior sections and the boys and girls in the eight years and under categories proved how well they have improved since joining the club and how their hard work in training has improved their technique and lead to big personal bests in competition.
The nine and 10 year old categories are TASC’s largest age groups and were extremely competitive, with the girls and boys fighting hard for the places and titles with many races decided on fractions of second at the touch.
