Musselburgh look to finish 2012 on a high
Dunbar United v Blackburn United
It’s the penultimate Saturday of the year, and a Super League chance for Musselburgh to finish 2012 with a home win over Lochee United at Olivebank before double away games away at Hill o’ Beath and starting 2013 away at Broxburn.
Top of the South League Haddington Athletic saw their match with second top Fauldhouse United frozen off at Millfield. Tomorrow, weather permitting, Haddington will be away to Falkirk Juniors, who held Hi-Hi to a 1-1 draw at Grangemouth in March, then beat the Athletic 3-1 at Millfield in May.
This will be Haddington’s last game of 2012 - the Hi-Hi resume business away to Pumpherston on the first Saturday in January.
Tranent Juniors and Dunbar United contest South League fixtures tomorrow, both at home and both keen to win. Tranent will be at Foresters Park to welcome Edinburgh United while Dunbar United are hosts at New Countess Park to Musselburgh’s Scottish Cup opponents Pumpherston.
