Invitation to first foot action at Musselburgh Racecourse

From fabulous fairground rides, trampolines and bouncy castles to gastronomic delights and festive tipples – not to mention the chance to enjoy a family flutter or two - Musselburgh Racecourse keeps the party going with its annual New Year’s Day race day on Tuesday.
Racegoers can enjoy some festive fresh air, welcome in the New Year in style and watch six action-packed races including the Hogmaneigh Handicap Hurdle with £87,000 in total prize money available on the day.
Racegoers can shrug off any Hogmanay hangover with the £30,000 Totepool.com Hogmaneigh Handicap Hurdle over two miles and the £20,000 Totepool.com Honest Toun Handicap Chase over 2m 4f, both of which will be televised on Channel 4.
And it’s not just the horses who can get in on the racing action. Musselburgh Racecourse will also play host to the New Year Sprint finals.
