Frost wipes out football card

East Lothian’s four junior football clubs were forced to sit out the action last Saturday due to a severe overnight frost but fingers crossed for this first Saturday of February tomorrow the full planned cup and league fixture programme will go ahead as planned, writes Striker.

East Super League’s Musselburgh Athletic return to Olivebank this weekend for a crucial match against Camelon Juniors.

East Region South League fixtures remain the same this week following last Saturday’s wholesale postponements for Dunbar United, Haddington Athletic and Tranent Juniors with only the latter featuring at home to face league newcomers Falkirk Juniors.

Dunbar United are set for a trip to Central Park to tackle Whitburn Juniors and Haddington Athletic go up to the capital to call on Edinburgh United at Paties Road.
