Dunbar fall to shield defeat
Dunbar travelled to play Livingston for the second time in two weeks for the first matches of the RBS Edinburgh Regional Shield.
Livingston launched an attack and with some slick handling put the winger over in the corner. The conversion was missed.
Livingston were penalised in the seventh minute, allowing Kieran Donnellan to put over from 45m, to make it 5–3.
The Livingston No.8 picked up, fed the scrum half who fed his back line for a simple try in the corner. The conversion was again missed, making it 10 – 3.
On 21 minutes, the ball was passed out to John Peebles for a superb try. Kieran Donnellan converted to bring the scores level, but Dunbar were awarded a penalty and chose to take another pot at goal, but were unsuccessful, so the scores remained level at 10-10.
