Dunbar crash out of Fife and Lothians Cup

Arniston v Haddington

Arniston v Haddington

There were no winners among the East Lothian Junior clubs last Saturday.

Tranent’s away South League fixture at Harthill Royal was weather-hit, Musselburgh lost 1-0 away at Sauchie in the Super League, while Haddington were shocked, losing 3-1 away at Arniston Rangers in the South League.

Meanwhile, Dunbar lost 5-0 in the first round of the Fife and Lothians Cup to visiting Premier League Oakley United.

With Musselburgh and Bonnyrigg Rose both losing their own Super League fixtures on Saturday, the scene is set for a cracking game at Olivebank tomorrow as fourth bottom Rose visit second bottom Athletic.

Meanwhile in the South Division, top of the league Haddington will want to see off fourth top Livingston United at Millfield tomorrow.

Striker’s full round-up and match reports feature in this week’s News. On sale now.
