Basia wins Scottish badminton title

Thirteen-year-old North Berwick school pupil Basia Grodynska, pictured right, celebrated a fine win in the girls singles at the U15 Scottish Age Group Badminton Singles held at Ravenscraig Sports Centre.

She was the youngest competitor at the event.

Basia won a nail biting final against West Lothian player Abbie Moran from St Kentigerns 21/17 22/24.
