Ramsey Hunter from North Berwick has been awarded £1,000 in recognition of his outstanding sporting ability through the OCS Young Sports Person Awards in partnership with SportsAid.
Ramsey was one of two runners-up for the regional award in Scotland and was selected from thousands of young sports people who were identified and nominated to SportsAid by their sport's National Governing Body.

Ramsey (15) has taken part in judo since the age of nine.

He has been twice Scottish Champion in Band C and achieved a bronze medal in the 2008 British U-16 Championships.

He represents Scotland internationally in competition and his ambition in the future is to take part in the European Championships and improve his medal performance at the British Championships.
