East Lothian primary schools are being given the chance to improve their reading provisions with a £2,000 boost.

The ScottishPower Foundation, in partnership with the Edinburgh International Book Festival, has launched Library Energiser and is calling on primary schools across the Lothians to submit an image of their current library or reading area, along with 100 words on how they would like the space to feel in future.

Entries should be submitted to libraryenergiser@stripecommunications.com by Friday, September 26.
