North Berwick and District Probus Club presents �250 to Leuchie House.

North Berwick and District Probus Club has chosen Leuchie House as its charity of the year.

Chairman Alan Vaughan and Michael Smith presented a cheque for £250 to Moni Robson, Leuchie House’s lead physiotherapist, alongside house guest David Regan.

Zoé Mobey, Leuchie’s head of fundraising and marketing, said: “This will make such a difference to our work and will ensure that Leuchie House can provide more people with access to our unique respite breaks, which include 24-hour specialist nursing care, physiotherapy, complementary therapies, outings and activities.”

Leuchie House is an independent charity in North Berwick providing respite breaks for people and their families affected by long-term physical conditions such as multiple sclerosis, stroke, Huntington’s Disease, Parkinson’s, motor neurone disease, cerebral palsy and spinal injuries.
