Poppies are being sown in a Prestonpans park to commemorate the forthcoming centenary of the First World War.

The Friends of Cuthill Park are supporting the Centenary Poppy Campaign, which aims to cover the UK with poppies to mark those who lost their lives in the 1914-18 conflict.

By sowing them now, the flowers should appear for the official start of the centenary in August.
