Talks are continuing to try and save a community project in Musselburgh that is facing closure due to a funding crisis.

DadsWork, which provides support services for fathers and families, has confirmed that it will cease operations from its Galt Avenue base at the end of this month following East Lothian Council’s decision to turn down an application for £70,000.

Representatives of the project and the council were due to meet twice this week in a bid to resolve the situation.
