Two men in East Lothian have been arrested and charged following police recovery of drugs worth more than £300.
Officers from the Haddington and Musselburgh community policing teams carried out an intelligence-led search of a property in Hardgate, Haddington, on Saturday, March 15.
As a result, 15g of cannabis and 140 diazepam tablets were seized, along with various drugs paraphernalia.
The recovered drugs are worth £200 and £140 respectively and the pair, aged 17 and 46, are due to appear in court at a later date.
Inspector Ian MacKay said: “As a result of information received from the public, we have made two arrests as part of our commitment to removing harmful drugs from our communities.
“We will continue to target those involved in the drugs trade and anyone found to be committing drug-related criminal activity will be dealt with by police.”
