A Tranent man who slashed a man in the face with a knife during a fight has been jailed.

James Bradley, 43 The Hedges, and Andrew Boyle had been involved in a violent argument when Bradley left the scene and returned with a knife. During the ensuing struggle Bradley lunged at Mr Boyle cutting him just below his jaw.

Bradley appeared at the sheriff court from custody after being found guilty following a trial on 29 April.
