A group of North Berwick teenagers are planning to visit Rwanda to work at a school and develop a community allotment in its grounds.
The youngsters aged between 16 and 18 will be fund-raising for the trip which will take place next October.
The team will be based in the Bugasera region of the country at the Faith and Hope School where they will improve classrooms by painting teaching aids.
They will also promote sustainability by creating a community allotment on a plot in the school grounds which can be accessed by villagers.
