The picturesque banks of the River Esk in Musselburgh have been proving popular with visitors and locals over the summer months.

The abundance of wildlife near all the main crossing points, including the historic Roman Bridge, make it irresistible for those who like feeding the ducks.

Local youngsters Niamh Kyle and her friend Oliver Thomson, both four years old, seem to enjoy interacting with nature.
