Support for vibrant East Lothian economy

Alistair Carmichael, Secretary of State for Scotland, visits East Lothian Works.

The Scottish Secretary, Alistair Carmichael, visited East Lothian Works in Haddington last week to learn about action on jobs, training and skills development in the area, which is provided by a range of partners.

Mr Carmichael, pictured with Jim McGonigle, district manager DWP, and Eileen McLachlan, adult guidance officer, said: “Projects like East Lothian Works ensure individuals have the support they require to succeed.

“They help to inspire confidence, create more jobs and support the Scottish economy.”
