Fun-loving bus driver John Lyall, from Musselburgh, has tried a variety of charity events before finding one really to his taste.
He recently spent five hours submerged in a bath of baked beans – all to raise money for a very good cause.
An employee with local bus operator, First Scotland East, 57-year-old John took up the challenge in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, FirstGroup’s national charity partner.
In order to gain maximum exposure, he chose the forecourt of Edinburgh’s Waverley railway station – one of the busiest spots for city commuters – to take the plunge.
