A row over a cycle path at Whitekirk is continuing to rage following a public meeting on Tuesday evening.

A 70-strong crowd gathered at Whitekirk Golf and Country Club to hear about new proposals for ‘Becky’s Strip’.

What do you think of the plan?

Controversy erupted last October when members of the public got wind of the plan to turn the grassy walkway into a concrete cycle path. A protest was mounted and the work was cancelled.

The new plan includes reducing the width of the cycle path to 1.5m instead of 3m and laying down a more “user friendly” track.
