A terrified Tranent bed and breakfast owner was trussed up and robbed by a man who targeted the elderly, a court was told this week.
The 69-year-old woman was attacked by David Campbell in a series of copycat raids on pensioners across Scotland.
The 49-year-old was jailed for six years when he appeared at the High Court in Livingston on Monday.
Lord Bannatyne told the accused that he had admitted “very nasty offences”, just weeks after being freed for similar robberies.
