A Prestonpans woman who posted cannabis to her home while on holiday in Amsterdam has been admonished.
Donna Blacklock, of 12 Rollo Court, High Street, was in the Dutch capital when she filled a DVD box with three bags of the Class B drug and sent it to her address in East Lothian.
Blacklock initially admitted to importing and arranging the delivery of a controlled drug to the United Kingdom on April 2, 2013, during an appearance at Haddington Sheriff Court in May. Sentence was deferred for good behaviour.
In May, the court was told Blacklock was a “naïve and troubled lady” and the posting of the Class B drug to her home “seemed like a good idea at the time”.
Sheriff Peter Braid told the 27-year-old it was a “very stupid thing to do” but decided to admonish her.
