Prestonpans pupils put MSP in hot seat on energy issues

Teacher-turned-politician Iain Gray went back to the classroom recently to discuss the issue of climate change.

The East Lothian MSP was invited to Preston Lodge High School to speak to pupils in the S2 Biology class about efforts being made by the Scottish Parliament to promote and develop renewable energy.

A former Physics teacher, Mr Gray said afterwards: “It was a particular pleasure to talk to a science class about the hugely important issues of climate change and renewable energy.”
