Police are appealing for witnesses following a number of housebreakings between March 14 and 19 which are being investigated under Operation RAC.
Five homes were broken into in Gullane between these dates - on Erskine Road, Marine Road, West Links Road and Nisbet Road. Stolen items included televisions and other electric goods.
A home on Seton Mains, Longniddry was also broken into between these dates, while a home on Campbell Road, Longniddry was broken into on March 18.
Local officers are now asking anyone who can assist with their enquiries to come forward, particularly if they notice anything suspicious in these areas. They are also urging residents to ensure their properties are suitably protected against criminal activity.
Detective Inspector Robert Brown from Police Scotland said: “These incidents are all being investigated as part of Operation RAC and anyone who remembers seeing any suspicious activity around homes in these areas in the past week is asked to contact police immediately.
