New Lamp trustees strengthen Haddington board

The Lamp of Lothian Trust – a charity which runs community buildings in Haddington and a music festival – has appointed four new trustees.

This follows the death of its chairman Sir Garth Morrison, who was also East Lothian’s Lord Lieutenant, last May and the resignation of Ruth Plowden after five years’ service.

The trust has buildings which accommodate the Bridge Youth and Community Centre and Poldrate Arts and Crafts Centre, and it also organises the Lammermuir Festival.
