A Musselburgh man who was caught bragging about disobeying a court curfew while drinking in a pub has been sent to prison.
Kieron Glynn, 7 Edenhall Crescent, was in the Burgh Bar in his hometown when he began “bragging about being on bail and had to be home by 7pm”. The police soon received an anonymous call to alert them to Glynn’s behaviour.
And when officers turned up to the popular pub things got worse for Glynn as he was searched and found to be in possession of a screwdriver.
Glynn claimed the hand tool, which had one and a half inch blade, had been used to help out the pub’s landlord who had asked him to fix a faulty toilet door.
