A drunk night clubber told a police officer that he would “slit the throats of him and his family” as he was arrested following a fracas outside a Musselburgh nightspot.

David Moffat threatened the officer after watching his friend Paul McLean being arrested for attempting to headbutt another officer during the incident outside Madison’s on November 30 last year.
