East Lothian’s Labour MP Fiona O’Donnell has “grave doubts” about the wisdom of using any military action in Syria.
She hopes the Government will work with the opposition frontbench and international partners to explore other forms of action that can be taken against the Assad regime.
Ms O’Donnell is also urging people to consider donating to the Disaster Emergency Committee’s Syrian crisis appeal at www.dec.org.uk/node/3181.
She took part in the debate in which the House of Commons voted against David Cameron’s attempt to take action against the Syrian regime.
