Mark Lees is the new chairman of Dunbar Royal National Lifeboat Institution’s management group.
He grew up next to the lifeboat station and has had a keen interest in the organisation for most of his life.
He joined the lifeboat management group because of his position at Torness Nuclear Power Station where the all weather lifeboat ‘John Neville Taylor’ is berthed. He is following in his family’s footsteps as his dad was a volunteer crewman and honorary lifeboat operations manager.
