Man placed on sex offenders’ register after East Lothian convictions

A man was convicted of a catalogue of violence and abuse at addresses, some in East Lothian, at the High Court in Edinburgh this week.

Gary Millar (42), a prisoner in Edinburgh, was convicted of 14 charges including indecency, rape, assault with intent to rape and assault following a trial. Millar’s earliest crimes were committed in the 1980s against two girls in Tranent when they were aged eight and 10.
