Pupils at North Berwick High School have been praised for the aid work they are doing in Malawi by East Lothian’s MP Fiona O’Donnell.
The Labour politician heard about their development project which aims to make a posititive contribution to the lives of young people in the African country through education, culture and health.
During a recent visit to North Berwick High, Ms O’Donnell was also told about a “life-changing” trip some of the senior pupils made to Malawi last year.
