Researchers into Musselburgh’s WW1 heroes are ready to share their findings with relatives and the wider community.
Copies of their Memorial Book – listing the names of the 599 men and one woman who died in service – are now available to the public, in return for a £10 donation to Musselburgh Museum.
Compiled with the help of lottery funding, the first copy of the book was launched earlier this month to coincide with the opening of the museum’s latest exhibition, WW1: Musselburgh Remembers.
Interest has been such, that researchers Kevin Liston and Ruth Knight were keen to make paperback copies available to members of the community, while at the same time distributing hardback copies to schools, churches and other organisations in the town.
