Employers in East Lothian are being urged to take advantage of cash help to create job opportunities for local 16 to 24-year-olds.

East Lothian Council has been awarded funding from the Scottish Government and the European Social Fund to manage the delivery of the Youth Employment Incentive Scheme.

But those interested need to act fast, with the deadline being Friday, March 21.

One employer which has taken advantage of the funding is Robop, a Macmerry company that manufactures robotic peregrine falcons to provide a long-term humane solution for nuisance birds.
