The pioneering work at the North Berwick-based Scottish Seabird Centre was the focus of a VIP nature visit last week.
Roberto Maldonado, a director of the world famous Galapagos National Park, was in town to view how the charity uses the latest technology to allow the public to experience local wildlife without disturbing it.
The partnership could lead to live footage from both tourist attractions being beamed across the world to each other.
The seabird centre is the world leader in remote wildlife viewing which allows visitors to zoom in live on wildlife action using interactive powered cameras.
