Fury at plans to axe two East Lothian councillors

Plans to cut the number of East Lothian councillors from 23 to 21 have come under fire from the authority’s current members.

Angry councillors rounded on the Boundary Commission for Scotland’s proposals, which are part of national review.

And they have responded by calling for the number in East Lothian to be increased.
