The ribbon was cut on Monday to celebrate the first new council houses to be built at North Berwick in nearly 30 years.

Justyna Frackowiak, one of the first tenants to move in, welcomed Councillor Norman Hampshire, East Lothian’s housing spokesman, David Small, Managing Director with Hart Builders, and Alastair Dee from the Scottish Government into her home in the new £4.8 million Law View development.

She showed them round the house built next to North Berwick Law and invited them to have a cup of tea.
