A plan to alter and extend a flat in a former stables building at Whittingehame has been approved by East Lothian Council’s planning committee.

Richard Cain received the go-ahead for the work at a meeting of the committee on Tuesday.

Councillors heard that the flat has been formed in the historic U-plan Whittingehame House Stables in what would have been the carriage shed.
