East Lothian trio triumph thanks to Big Lottery funding

Three East Lothian organisations have scooped nearly £30,000 from the Big Lottery Fund.

The Mental Enablement and Empowerment community group, which is hoping to buy Haddington’s former Tynepark resource centre for people with mental health issues, received £9,863.

A total of £10,000 has been allocated to the Scottish Seabird Centre, which is hoping to expand its current tourist attraction into a National Marine Centre. The same amount ha been given to Dunbar Sea Cadets to fund a family safety boat.
