Fiona O'Donnell MP celebrates UK action helping halve child deaths from malaria.

Fiona O’Donnell MP has become a patron of Malaria No More UK, the charity that supports the fight against one of the world’s most deadly yet preventable diseases.

A global effort has seen child death rates from malaria halved since 2000 and the UK wants to at least halve deaths from malaria in 10 or more of the worst affected countries by 2015.

Ms O’Donnell will join campaigners at Westminster to promote World Malaria Day on April 25.
