Scottish wildlife cameraman and filmmaker Gordon Buchanan – best known for his BBC documentary series such as The Polar Bear Family and Me – will officially open East Lothian’s ‘Puffin Fest’.

The ten-day event is a first for Scotland, celebrating the country’s most popular seabird.

Running from May 16-26, the Scottish Seabird Centre’s Puffin Fest will feature a family-friendly and environmentally-focused programme of activities.

Puffin Fest aims to inspire both locals and visitors to learn more about puffins while also highlighting the importance of conserving and protecting seabirds for future generations.
