Early Christmas present for East Lothian Foodbank

A pre-Christmas cracker has been delivered to needy East Lothian families affected by food poverty.

The Big Lottery Fund has awarded £59,407 to East Lothian Foodbank through its Support and Connect programme.

James Bruce, who chairs the local Foodbank, said: “We are absolutely ecstatic about this award.

“It’s going to make such a big difference to Foodbank and will allow us to make the next step in our programme.”
