An East Lothian boy’s entrepreneurial spirit is making a global impact and gaining support for his project to help the county’s needy residents.
Eamonn Johnstone, from Ormiston, is taking inspiration from Kyle MacDonald, a young Canadian whose wacky idea to “trade up” his one red paperclip through an online appeal led to him securing a house.
Nine-year-old Eamonn is perfectly happy at home with mum Stephanie, dad Moray and sister Chloe (5). But he does wants to ensure that emulating MacDonald’s wheeze will help local people in poverty.
