E-cigarette ban is on board’s agenda

Councillors want more information before deciding on a request to ban the use of e-cigarettes in East Lothian licensed premises.

The Royal Environmental Health Institute of Scotland has written to the county’s licensing board asking it to consider imposing a ban.

What’s your opinion about e-cigarettes in pubs?
Councillor Willie Innes told a meeting of the board last Thursday that there was a lot of public interest on the subject, adding: “I think we need to be well informed and I don’t think we have enough information in front of us.”
