A former quarry near Dunbar is attracting important species of wildlife.

The site at Lafarge Tarmac’s Dunbar cement plant is living up to expectations a year into its landmark agreement with the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Scotland.

Important winter visitors from northern climes such as pochard ducks and barnacle geese are making it their home.
