Cupcakes work a treat in new Dunbar shop

Caroline Miller faced a big decision at the beginning of this year, having been told she was going to lose 
her job.

The 32-year-old, from Tranent, had been employed by the Dunfermline Building Society for three years, but Nationwide’s takeover of the business resulted in the closure of the hometown branch where she worked.

Fortunately, she had a fall-back position, Caledonian Cupcakes, a home business she’d started last year.
