North Berwick boy Charlie Kay is enjoying cycling trips on his new £2,000 trike which was donated by the local Rotary Club.
The six-year-old youngster, who has diaplegic cerebral palsy, is expected to undergo a life-changing operation at Bristol in January to improve his mobility.
Charlie of Stair Park was born nine weeks prematurely in June 2007 and at 14 months he was diagnosed with the condition.
Parents Melanie and Martin have dedicated themselves to a daily physiotherapy plan to ensure his mobility could be given the best possible chance. He uses a walker to get about over short distances and for longer distances he uses a therapy bike or wheelchair.
