East Lothian’s Labour MP Fiona O’Donnell is calling for a full public consultation on plans to re-privatise East Coast Main Line rail services.

She said: “The East Coast Main Line is a vital part of the UK’s rail network carrying around 18 million passengers every year.

“As the line runs through East Lothian and Dunbar is one of the directly managed stations, it is also of direct local interest to people here.”
